Nenad Peric

Professor

Nenad Peric is a Digital Sculptor, Modeler and Teacher. Born in Novi Sad, Serbia, he has over ten years of experience in feature film, television and commercials.
 
He holds Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in Graphic Engineering and Design from the Faculty of Technical Science in Novi Sad, where his journey into 3D began. After moving to Canada, he further expanded his artistic knowledge by graduating from the Animation 3D program at Centennial College.
 
Nenad worked in various VFX studios across Toronto on projects such as Deadpool 2, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, John Wick 3, Bad Boys 3, The Boys, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Umbrella Academy and Game of Thrones. After a few years in VFX, he shifted gears and moved into Feature and TV Animation, where he has been ever since. Offering a wide field of expertise, he is currently responsible for character and environment modeling and sculpture. Some of his work can be seen on the Netflix and CBS shows A Tale Dark & Grimm and Reindeer in Here, as well as the recent preschool show Rubble & Crew produced by Spin Master Entertainment.
 
Nenad taught at Max the Mutt College for four years, teaching introductory courses utilizing production tools such as Zbrush, Maya and Substance Painter. In 2019, he joined the faculty team at Centennial College for the Game - Art and Animation 3D programs. While teaching at both colleges, he has developed multiple courses focusing on human anatomy, character design and production tools used in Games, VFX and Animation. In addition, Nenad was the Program Coordinator for the Animation 3D and Digital Visual Effects programs at Centennial College from 2022 to 2023.
