Jim Lambie is an award-winning Set Decorator with over 20 years experience in feature film, television and commercials.
A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University)'s Media Arts program, Jim began his career as an editor and cinematographer, transitioning early on to the design end of production, as an art director and set decorator.
In addition to his Emmy nomination, Jim has won an Art Director’s Guild Award for his work on 'The Umbrella Academy S1’, a Director’s Guild of Canada Award for 'The Umbrella Academy S2' and 'The Murdoch Mysteries: Under the Dragon's Tail', and a Canadian Screen Award for his work on Denis Villeneuve's feature film 'Enemy'. In addition to Villeneuve, Jim has worked alongside such notable directors as Atom Egoyan, Deepa Mehta, Paul Mazursky, Matt Shakman, Denys Arcand, and Olivier Assayas.
Jim is also a fine art photographer who has had numerous exhibitions, including an early show curated by a then up-and-coming Stephen Bulger. His work is held in many private collections, as well as having appeared in numerous film and television productions.
