Celestine Eagle, born in South Africa and raised in Australia, has enjoyed a rewarding career as a professional dancer, well-respected choreographer, creative director, educator, and instructor. She has directed, created, and performed in stage productions, theatrical and television shows, commercials, music videos, and various dance productions across Australia, Asia, North America, and internationally.
Her success in the Entertainment Industry, Stage Productions, and Creative Arts has taken her to more than 30 countries. As the Creative Director for a US-based production company, Celestine produced choreographic works for Disney Entertainment, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruise Lines, and numerous renowned corporations and entertainment companies throughout America.
Now a Canadian resident, Celestine has brought over 20 years of teaching experience in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Broadway, Musical Theatre, Commercial, and Modern dance to Centennial College. There, she created the innovative, industry-driven Dance Performance Diploma Program and serves as its founder, coordinator, and lead professor.
In addition to her extensive dance career, Celestine holds a Master of Arts Degree in Leadership from Royal Roads University and a Master of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Transitioning to psychotherapy felt like a natural progression, aligning with her passion for inspiring and supporting others. Celestine is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists. Her rich life experiences—having lived and worked in South Africa, Australia, the USA, and now Canada—have made her adept at working with diverse communities. Committed to inclusivity and cultural humility, Celestine embraces individuality and celebrates authenticity. She has always believed in a holistic approach, valuing the mind-body connection as key to a healthier way of being.
Recently, she started a private practice and aims to continue contributing to the dance and athletic arts community, as well as other communities, as a psychotherapist. Inspired by her love of dance education, Celestine thrives on sharing her extensive knowledge and experience with her students and clients.
