Jami is currently a Toronto-based choreographer, instructor and performer who loves sharing her passion for dance and the performing arts all across Canada and abroad. She is well-versed in many styles of dance. Jami has appeared as both an actor and dancer in several music videos, short films, print ads/campaigns, television shows, commercials, and live stage/theatre shows, in addition to working behind the scenes in the creative process as a choreographer and movement director.
She has worked as a choreographer for Juno Award-winning artist Bulow, choreographing her live performances for the Much Music Video Awards and the Juno Awards in 2019. Jami has choreographed music videos for Grammy-nominated artists Jessie Reyez, Ana Goljia, Niiva and other successful artists. Jami contributed her movement coaching skills to an SSENSE and Joe Fresh campaign. She recently choreographed a commercial spot for Lutronic while lending her movement coaching skills to their photo campaign. Jami is a certified Jazz and Tap teacher with the A.D.A.P.T Syllabi for all Pre-Jr to Advanced levels and has successfully entered students in A.D.A.P.T examinations. She is also a certified teacher with Acrobatic Arts. Jami applies her extensive fitness and health knowledge to her dance training and is currently enrolled in the NEU Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates certification program.
She is currently a full-time instructor at the Ontario School of Ballet and has been a faculty member of the Dance Performance Diploma program at Centennial College since 2015. Jami has also worked as a guest instructor at George Brown College, home of Ballet Jörgen Canada. Over the years, Jami has developed a strong passion for teaching and educating students of all ages and levels and continues to inspire, create, and challenge.
