Nina Strazzulla

Program Coordinator and Teacher

Nina is an accomplished performer, dance instructor, and adjudicator. She is well-versed in many dance disciplines and is thrilled to be the program coordinator for Centennial College’s Dance Performance Diploma Program.
 
Nina has worked as a dance captain, aerialist, and tumbler for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, where she was featured in Moment Factory’s Starwater, performed in Robert Stigwood’s Saturday Night Fever: The Musical, and demonstrated for the Toronto-based auditions. Nina also toured the American Midwest with Spirit Productions, performed across the GTA with Cirque Revolution, was a montage dancer in the Oscar-nominated film Amelia, and achieved recognition as a two-time top 40 finalist on So You Think You Can Dance Canada.
 
As a former Miss Dance of Canada, Nina has become an active member of Dance Masters of Canada, Chapter #38. She is a past director of DMC’s junior membership program and is now treasurer on the chapter’s executive committee. Most recently, Nina completed Module 3 with Acrobatic Arts and is a certified examiner for the organization. Her other teaching credits include, but are not limited to, working with the Canadian National Synchronized Skating Team (NEXXICE), winning ADA’s Regional Young Choreographer of the Year, and being on faculty with Northern Movement Acro Convention. Nina was also voted #1 Dance Instructor in the Hamilton Community’s Readers’ Choice Awards.
 
Nina graduated on the Dean’s List with a Bachelor of Arts & Science (Honours) from McMaster University and always aims to inspire the next generation of young dancers.
