Kamar Thomas is a fine artist and professor of art at Centennial College. He graduated with a BA in Studio Art from Wesleyan University and an MFA in Drawing and Painting from the University of Connecticut. He is passionate about how art can connect cultures and share points of view across the world. Thomas' experience living abroad and making art culminated in the book The Artist's Creative Vision: How to Make Art that Makes Change and Makes a Living. When Kamar isn't creating his next oil painting or writing material, sharing how others can successfully join the art world, you can find him in a weightlifting gym, singing karaoke, or learning another language.
