Derek Chezzi lives at the intersection of storytelling, digital product and audience engagement. He has worked for some of the largest news and communications brands building editorial operations for a digital-first media business when legacy news publishers were years away from embracing digital platforms, creating new forms of socially-driven editorial experiences when terms like Instagram influencers were still a novelty, and building audience experiences with emerging technology like smart speaker digital assistants. He teaches courses in Emerging Tools and Technology and the Business of Journalism.
