Lisa Yeung is a proud Centennial College alumnus who started her digital media career with a field placement at Canoe.ca. She has more than 20 years of experience as a digital journalist and is a member of the launch team that helped bring The Huffington Post to Canada in 2011. She managed HuffPost Canada's award-winning Lifestyle and Perspectives teams in the past decade and was most recently co-editor-in-chief before the site was shut down in 2021. Lisa teaches News Reporting and Entrepreneurial Reporting to UTSC students through an approach that combines personal development alongside editorial skills, with a focus on applying anti-oppression practices.
