Sydney Loney

Sydney Loney is an award-winning writer and editor with more than 20 years of experience working odd jobs in the Canadian media landscape. She has led creative teams at some of the country’s most renowned magazines, including as editor in chief at enRoute and features editor at Chatelaine, and her work has appeared in a variety of publications: The Walrus, Maclean’s, the Globe and Mail, Elle Canada, Flare, the Toronto Star, Cottage Life, Reader’s Digest, Huffington Post, House & Home, the National Post, Nuvo, Today’s Parent and more. She has edited books on everything from cooking to gardening and has been interviewed on panels, podcasts, newscasts and morning shows (although she still hates seeing herself on TV). Sydney is currently freelancing and working as a writing and editing coach at Plan International Canada. She teaches personal branding and freelancing to UTSC and Centennial students.
