Franziska Trilse

Franziska Trilse is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator specializing in editorial layouts. She holds a bilingual BA from York University in Languages and a Masters in Illustration from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK. In her major study project during her Masters, she researched and illustrated interactive children’s ebooks. She also graduated from Centennial College’s Publishing Book, Magazines and Electronic post-graduate program. In her professional career, Franziska is known for laying out magazine editorial stories and creating visually engaging advertising campaigns for start-ups. She has contributed to many magazines on everything from cover design and interior page layout to creating graphics for social media. Her research interests include linguistics and how the interactivity of digital devices creates new opportunities at the intersection of design, technology and language learning. When Franziska is not working on a new design project, she is probably out kayaking, painting or competing in pop culture trivia.
