Jaro Dabrowski is a versatile guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer whose work spans a variety of genres, including pop, jazz, folk, electronic, WAM, and world music. With a strong academic background, he conducted extensive research on East European jazz history, the orchestral style of Sonorism, Silk-and-Bamboo traditional folk music from Eastern China, and diverse musical genres from Central Asia during his graduate studies at York University. Currently based in the Toronto area, he is a session musician and artistic director for several music groups. He frequently performs in Canada and the USA, collaborating with artists predominantly in pop, polka-country, and world music including the Grammy-nominated John Gora and Górale. Jaro is involved in music education through the MIAP program, where he teaches private lessons and ensemble.
