Tricia is a dedicated mental health professional with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, children, and families in their journey towards improved well-being and personal growth. She holds a master’s degree in social work, specializing in children and families, from the University of Toronto. Throughout her career, Tricia has worked in both community and hospital settings, where she has treated acute mental health illnesses and provided crucial education and support to families.
Tricia is proficient in several therapeutic treatment modalities, including cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies, attachment and narrative therapy, trauma-informed treatment, and structural family therapy. Currently, she operates a private practice where she helps individuals and families achieve their well-being goals. One of her passions is conducting group trainings and wellness workshops for diverse communities, imparting knowledge and practical skills that foster resilience and growth.
For the past 10 years, Tricia has also been a professor in the Social Service Worker program at Centennial College. She is actively involved in curriculum development and is committed to equipping her students with the skills necessary to effectively support and engage with clients and communities.
As a partner, mother, and educator, Tricia values the significance of relationships and believes in the transformative power of connections with others and oneself.
