With 20 years of experience in healthcare and 10 years teaching at Centennial College, I've honed my skills in presentations, and team building. My journey has led me to assist with the opening of a new long term care facility and being the Director of Patient and Retail Food services in a hospital setting. I was a chef for twenty years before transitioning into healthcare.
I am dedicated to ensuring a positive culture through communication. My approach combines an emphasis on a respectful and positive learning environment with a focus on the student experience.
Outside of work, you'll find me enjoying nature when walking my puppies, and planning trips to Taiwan where my son, his wife, and their two children live. Additionally, I enjoy cooking meals for family and gardening. Finding a balance between work and personal time is key to my well-being and creativity.
I consider myself a life-long learner. I'm passionate about teaching, and I look forward to inspiring and supporting students on their professional journey and hoping to inspire students to making a difference in the lives of others.
