Operating Room

The RPN perioperative nursing program prepares Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) for entry level scrub nurse roles within operating rooms. You''ll receive classroom theory, hands-on practical lab work, and a clinical placement in either a teaching or community hospital.

RPN Bridging to University Nursing - hybrid delivery

A hybrid delivery format offered at selected Regional Access Centres (RAC’s) in Ontario which allows Registered Practical Nurses to complete the first part of Centennial College’s RPN to BScN Nursing Bridging Program in six continuous semesters.

Advanced IV Therapy and Phlebotomy

This course is a combination of basic and advanced IV therapy. It is a base and intensive theory course that gives RNs, RPNs and non-registered nurses an opportunity to build upon and update theoretical knowledge of IV therapy.

Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation Course: Hybrid delivery

This course will help Registered Practical Nurses learn about basic arrhythmia interpretation, including arrhythmias originating from the sinus node, atria, junction, ventricle and atrioventricular block arrhythmias. It will also discuss specific cardiac disorders including pathophysiology, current treatments and relevant nursing interventions of specific disorders and arrhythmias.

Medical Esthetic Practitioner

This program helps RN/RPNs develop the skills they need to perform facial esthetic services in medical spas.  It combines up-to-date theoretical knowledge with advanced clinical components. This program addresses trends and the explosion of the medical-esthetic industry.
