Students from Centennial College's Pre-Apprenticeship Electrician program are work-ready, equipped with the skills and experience you need on your team. In class, they learn what they need to work in electrical construction and maintenance.
Our skilled graduates have:
- Level 1 Construction and Maintenance (240 hours of training on electrical code, theory and installation from Centennial College)
- Mandatory health and safety-related training (WHMIS, Working at Heights, Lockout/Tagout, CPR-First Aid)
- Their own set of professional tools, safety glasses, work boots, and gloves
- A permit from the Ministry to do electrical work
We offer incentives:
- We provide up to $3000 wage subsidies per student through our program
- We assist you in the selection of students based on your requirements
- Apprenticeship Training Tax Credit
To qualify:
- Provide proof of WSIB and third-party general liability insurance
- Sign an employer agreement with the successful candidate
