Dr. Nick Sajadi is a Professor in the School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science, at Centennial College. Nick Sajadi has a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from York University, Toronto, Canada and more than 10 years of experience in teaching at different colleges and universities in Ontario. He also has more than 15 years of experience of analysis and design for industrial monitoring and distributed enterprise systems. His main areas of expertise include statistical signal processing, design and analysis of distributed, and enterprise systems. Dr. Nick Sajadi is also involved in scholarly work and applied research through Centennial’s Applied Research, Innovation and, Entrepreneurship Services (ARIES), and is developing a GPU based compression add-ons for the Unity game engine to be used for high rate/high quality distributed rendering. He is the chief technology officer (CTO) of Kaypok Inc., a startup text analytic company. Dr. Nick Sajadi was the primary researcher for several projects as a primary researcher at York University and published several prestigious IEEE papers. He is also a sessional instructor of computer science courses at York University.
