Dr. Salam Al-Juboori

Dr. Salam Al-Juboori received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical engineering from the University of Baghdad in 1982, M.Sc. degree in Laser engineering from the University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq in 2008, M. Eng. degree in Electrical and Computer engineering from McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada in 2011, and PhD degree in Electrical and Computer engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), Toronto, Canada in 2017. He received Ryerson Graduate Award in 2012-2015. His Ph.D. thesis topic was ’Multichannel Spectrum Sensing over Correlated fading Channels with Diversity Reception’. Currently, he is a post-doctoral research fellow with Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), Toronto, Canada and a professor in the Department of Information and Communication Engineering Technology (ICET), School of Engineering and Technology Applied Science at Centennial College, Toronto, Canada. His researches of interests include cognitive spectrum sensing in wireless communications, signal detection, computer networking and optical communications. Dr. Al-Juboori was the head of the computer and network maintenance department in Al-Dhilal Group for Computers, Amman, Jordan Dec 1999 to Dec 2002.
