Centennial College's School of English and Liberal Studies is offering newcomers a chance to enhance their career skills with the introduction of the Occupation-specific Language Training (OSLT) course for Business: Entrepreneurship, Sales and Marketing.
This part-time online course is free of charge and will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9 PM with an additional 4-5 hours of online work a week from September to December 2024.
The OSLT for Business course focuses on
- Improving listening and speaking skills for entrepreneurship, sales and marketing environments;
- Learning about typical interactions in different business workplaces and practicing similar interactions in the classroom;
- Career building skills that include interviewing, targeted resumes and networking;
- Information and related resources for further research.
Do you Qualify?
This course is for you if
- You have related training or experience in entrepreneurship, sales or marketing
- Your English is at an intermediate level Canadian Language Benchmarks (6 to 8)
- You are a permanent resident or protected person.
