Amy has 12+ years of experience in the administrative and customer service fields. Her professional experience includes working for a team of doctors, a leading not-for-profit (Habitat for Humanity), and Fortune 500 companies such as Luxottica and American Express. All afforded the opportunity to develop well-rounded business skills and experience which she shares with her students in the classroom.
Her academic career started with Centennial College after graduating with an honours diploma in Office Administration – Executive. She is now working towards her certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. She believes in the importance of always learning, growing, and bettering oneself self.
She is very much a "go with the flow" kind of person and believes in enjoying the little things in life and being grateful for each experience. Outside of the classroom, her interests include nature photography, creating unique handmade items for her modest business ‘Meraki Boutique Products’, and working on building her body-positive website and blog.
