Holly Pearlman

Holly Pearlman is a paralegal and full-time professor in Centennial College’s Centre for Legal and Administrative Studies Coming from an entrepreneurial family background, where she experienced first-hand the interaction of law and business, Holly extended this training in the commercial realm. With prior hands-on practice, a diverse educational background, in conjunction to holding an honours degree from York University and University of Siena in economics, humanities and the fine arts, she continued in the business world, specializing in drafting and negotiating international contracts between companies in Europe and North America. After over 10 years of involvement in finance and international business, she pursued her true joy, education. Holly established a company that focussed primarily in designing and implementing programs to mentor and assist learners with unique strengths to find academic and personal success.

She joined Centennial College’s Business School faculty in 2012 to instruct paralegal candidates in subjects that resonated with her enthusiasm for the law and business endeavours. Holly’s personal areas of involvement include advocating for nutritional programs in secondary schools and developing educational platforms, congruent with the mission statement and values of Act to End Violence against Women. As an educator, Holly believes that providing a forum for critical thinking and collaborative instruction for learners seeking to be paralegals will positively impact the legal services vocation by establishing a well-trained professional, sensitive to Ontario’s diversity that can provide financially viable access to justice.
