Centennial College - Tree Planting Event at Centennial College

There are over 1000 trees and shrubs to be planted at Progress Campus, which is part of a restoration project. All species of trees and shrubs have been carefully selected to ensure they are native to the area and are found within the adjacent Highland Creek Ravine, under the guidance of the TRCA and the Ravine and Natural Feature Protection unit in the City of Toronto.

We invite you to spend a few hours at Progress Campus helping plant trees and learning more about the importance of canopy cover, native species and pollinators and their Indigenous roots. There will be snacks, giveaway, learning activities and a chance to connect with members of the college community while doing something good for the environment!
