4th Annual Centennial Pride Fundraiser

Our 4th Annual Pride Fundraiser is taking place at the CCSAI Main Events Hall at Progress Campus. Enjoy performances by Toronto-based drag performers The Virgo Queen, Manny Dingo, and yes, she’s back-back-back again Sanjina Da Bish Queen. Check out Conversations for Social Change: Pride Edition in which four Centennial students share their experiences and journeys. There are two food trucks for complimentary lunch and plenty of refreshments! Community partners will be on site, including Toby’s Place, Friends of Ruby and Modo Yoga Scarborough Studio, among others. Proceeds from donations will be applied towards the 2SLGBTQQIA+ Bursary, with the College matching donations up to $25,000. Centennial community members can donate to the 2SLGBTQQIA+ Bursary all month long.
Silent Auction
Our Silent Auction will wrap up with some wonderful prizes, including items from local vendors, jewelry, home décor, prize baskets, unique experiences and services, gift certificates and much more! Bidding starts Thursday, June 1 at 10 a.m. until June 6 at 2 p.m. online. Auction items can be viewed on the bidding app. As well, items will be displayed in person at the CCSAI during the Pride Fundraiser. PRIDE Movie Matinée
You are invited to also join Centennial Libraries, and Global Experience for PRIDE Movie Matinee and Discussion from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Join us to watch the fabulous movie 'Paris is Burning' and be transported back to 1987 New York City and the birthplace of Voguing. Following the film, share your thoughts in an open discussion to further celebrate and explore PRIDE. There will also be refreshments. Register today for the PRIDE Movie Matinée.
