The Academic scholarships on this webpage do not require an online application. Centennial College will select the recipient of these scholarships based on your academic performance at Centennial College. Awarded to full-time students from the Baking and Pastry Arts Management (1813) program or the Baking Skills (1810) program. The students must have been enrolled first year of the same program, full-time during the previous term. The students with the highest cumulative grade point average above 3.0 after their first two semesters of studies will be the recipients of this award.
The Office of Development will share the recipients’ myCentennial email addresses with COBS Bread.

Awarded to a full-time student from one of the following programs:
o Food and Beverage Management (1808/1848/1868)
o Hospitality – Hotel Operations Management Program (1807/1837/1867)
o Special Event Planning (1803/1843/1863)
The student must have completed their 3rd or 4th semester Work Integrated Learning placement at The Local Café and Restaurant or Centennial College Event Centre in the previous calendar year. The recipient will be a student that demonstrates exemplary leadership qualities, professionalism and promotes teamwork in the operation. The recipient will be selected based the feedback provided on the Work Integrated Learning evaluation.

Awarded to a full-time student from one of the following programs:
o Food and Beverage Management (1808/1848/1868)
o Hospitality – Hotel Operations Management Program (1807/1837/1867)

The student must have completed their 3rd or 4th semester Work Integrated Learning placement at The Local Café and Restaurant or Centennial College Event Centre in the previous calendar year. The recipient will be a student that demonstrates excellent guest service and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to professionalism in the operation. The recipient will be selected based the feedback provided on the Work Integrated Learning evaluation.

Awarded to a second to eighth semester student enrolled in a School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts program in the Fall term. The students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. The Success advisors from the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts are to nominate students with demonstrated commitment to the program, demonstrated self-improvement, and an on-going counsel relationship with the advisor."

Awarded to a full-time student of the Baking and Pastry Arts Management Program (1813/1823/1873) or the Culinary Management Program (1811/1822/1861). The student must have completed their 3rd or 4th semester Work Integrated Learning placement at The Local Cafe and Restaurant or Centennial College Event Centre in the previous calendar year. The recipient will be a student that demonstrates dedication to baking and pastry excellence, or culinary excellence, and a commitment to professionalism in the operation. The recipient will be selected based the feedback provided on the Work Integrated Learning evaluation.
