Has 3 grown sons and 4 grandchildren.
Has lived on reserve for her entire life

Volunteers in the community
Co-founded the “New Credit Cancer Support Group” in 2017
Active in fundraising for various events and groups
Has successfully settled four land claims.
Has developed several booklets as a public education tool and completed a video of New Credit’s history.
2012 -15 was given the task of “Duty to Consult” for the First Nation It was a new area for many First Nations.
In 2014, began working on the creation of a department to handle the Duty to Consult.
In January 2015 the Department of Consultation and accommodation (DOCA) opened its’ door.
December 2015, was elected as a Councillor for Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. The term ended December 2017, returned to the position of Director of LMR.
Currently working on creating a Governance Unit, developing laws, and foundational work.
Graduated with honours from the Personal Support Worker Program in October 2009.
Works part-time as a PSW since 2009
Currently a volunteer for the Palliative Care team
