Over the past 13 years Carol has worked with government agencies to secure government funded projects and has supervised the delivery of academic programs at Centennial College. Prior to that, she worked on the convergence of technology with education, instruction & interface design to foster enhanced communication and learning in both private and public environments.
As Dean of the School of Advancement Carol is accountable for contributing to the academic integrity and enrolment growth of the college by providing academic and administrative leadership and supervision to the chairs, managers, faculty and support staff in the school to ensure that we do make a 'bigger promise to our students' in the areas of communication and general education. She is also accountable for developing, implementing and promoting access and preparatory education in post-secondary and non post-secondary sectors of the college, including adult literacy, youth employment preparation, employment resource centres and employability skills training to those groups with challenges and barriers: New Canadians, Aboriginal students, marginalized youth, students with disabilities, second career and first generation students.
