As part of our ongoing commitment to educating students for career success and ensuring the long-term sustainability of this mission, Centennial College is providing an update on upcoming adjustments to full-time academic program offerings.
We are making some changes for the 2026-2027 academic year, which runs from Fall 2026 through Summer 2027. The following changes come after a comprehensive review of programs to ensure alignment with student demand and labour market needs.
Programs reinstated for the 2026–2027 academic year:
- Honours Bachelor of Public Relations Management
- Community Development Work
- Hotel and Restaurant Management (formerly: Hotel Operations Management – Hospitality)
Programs that will not admit new students for the 2026–2027 academic year (suspended):
- Computer Repair and Maintenance
- Electronics Engineering Technology
- Food Science Technology
- Environmental Technician
- Environmental Technology
- Storytelling with Data
- Children’s Media
- Lifestyle Media
The changes come prior to applications for the 2026-2027 academic year opening to prospective students. While some programs won’t be admitting new students for the upcoming cycle, current students will have the opportunity to complete their studies and graduate with an education that prepares them for career success.
Program adjustments ensure offerings remain current and sustainable. While these adjustments are a normal part of college operations, recent policy changes affecting international student enrolments have made a higher-than-usual number of program suspensions necessary in 2025 to date.
