In light of the current context and in a bid to prevent a potential second wave of COVID-19 impacting Ontario, Centennial College will, for the most part, continue to teach at a distance and online. It is hoped, however, that courses with significant hands-on activity and requiring in-house instruction will be scheduled on our respective campuses, in strict accordance with Public Health protocols. Rest assured, with the significant investments we have recently made and continue to make in quality online course development and extensive training and resource supports for faculty teaching at a distance, Centennial will continue to provide the rich academic content and high quality teaching that you will need to facilitate your academic and future career success.
As I am sure you can appreciate, our plans may change as more information is forthcoming and as circumstances dictate, and of course, if that issue ever arises, we will keep you informed of those changes every step of the way. What will not change, however, is our commitment to you – the most important people in our world and everything will be done within our power to ensure a seamless, responsive and quality education, whatever the context.
