As you are aware Rogers Communications and their affiliates (Fido/Chatr) are experiencing a nation-wide interruption of their cellphone and internet services.
As such there may be issues connecting with Centennial College faculty, staff and student service providers online. Please be advised that our campuses are open, our Hub services are operational, and Internet service is available on campus for student use.
Exams and Assignments Scheduling
For students that have exams scheduled or assignments due today and may have been adversely affected, we understand your frustration and concern. For those directly impacted by the Roger’s outage, we want to assure you that your course instructors will be exercising flexibility where late/missed assignments and exams are concerned.
Other Deadlines
Please note that the program transfer deadline for Fall 2022, originally scheduled for today, is being extended until Monday, July 11.
Food Services and Bookstores
All Ancillary Services are functioning normally with the exception of no credit card payments (Visa/MasterCard) available for Food Services.Open locations are accepting cash, debit, myCard and Tim’s Cards where applicable. In some cases, debit transactions are intermittently affected at our Campus Bookstores.
Please note that we are continuing to monitor what appears to be a prolonged outage and will provide updates to the Centennial community as they become available via the front page of Centennial’s website and social media channels.
