I have been in the baking and pastry industry for about 13 years. Before teaching at Centennial College, I worked in many bakeries and patisseries around Toronto including an Italian bakery producing hot foods, Italian pastries and cakes, a Persian patisserie supplying high-end pastries to Pusateries, McEwans and Yummy Market and worked in the Pastry team plating desserts at Shangri La Hotel. Most recently, my role was senior cake artist creating beautiful wedding and special occasion cakes.

After finding my passion of edible art and integrating modern techniques, I am now the proud owner of a licensed home-based company Macookie + Cake creating incredible wedding and character cakes.
