After just two years in the Centennial College Business – International Business program, you'll be prepared for the global workplace.
This International Business program will provide you with general foundational knowledge as well as specialized international business training. The first two semesters will cover key concepts needed to build a successful business career. The final two semesters will feature specific international business courses, which will ensure you meet industry demands.
The intensive business courses will cover topics such as processing customs compliance documents, assisting in the transportation of goods to and from locations throughout the world, and taking on a support role in the marketing and sale of Canadian goods in the global marketplace.
MATH128 prepares students for MATH119, which is a required course for most of The Business School Diploma programs. Applicants who test between 21/45 and 35/45 in the MATH Assessment test will be exempted from MATH128, and will take MATH118. Students who score 36/45 or higher will be exempted from MATH128 and MATH118 and will take MATH119. Students who test into MATH 128 will be subject to an additional fee.
Students with an English assessment score of 170/171 may take COMM170/171 in the first semester.
The International Business program is tailored so you can leverage your potential in the global business world.
This offering enables you to emerge as an innovative problem solver and decision maker, with strong analytical and problem solving skills, and the ability to plan and prioritize.
Upon completion of this International Business program, you may be eligible for the Canadian International Freight Forwarding Association (CIFFA) certificate, in accordance with the process prescribed by CIFFA.
