Description

This course is a continuation of Design Process 1. Building on skills and theory learned in the first semester, students focus on the application of design process in problem solving. They will apply all stages of process to find effective solutions to complex design problems.

With the emphasis on cultural context and contemporary design issues, students will research content of client-oriented projects and create graphic design applying multiple solutions to each problem. Students apply knowledge of principles of design in the evaluation of design work. Preparing proposals to document and support the process is an integral part of this course.

All assignments include verbal, written and visual component presentation. Course content is delivered through lectures, in-class discussions, critiques and assignments.
