| Description | This course is designed to develop the student’s skills for the lifting, blocking and maintenance of equipment and components, in accordance to manufacturer specifications, industry standards and government regulations. Learners will develop skills centered on weight estimation, determining centre of gravity and loads on slings. The students will also learn the inspection, maintenance and selection of devices and equipment used to rig, lift or support following manufacturer and industry recommended practices according to government regulations. |
