| Description | This course will assist the students in understanding the major classes of microorganisms. The students will learn about common media used in a microbiology laboratory including preparation, autoclaving and dispensing. Students will learn to how to handle specimens using aseptic technique. They will learn to inoculate specimens using the proper media and incubation conditions. Students will be able to perform common stain techniques and examine them for proper staining. |
