Description

If you are going to work in the film, digital media, and television industry you need to know and understand what is being produced by Canadian companies for broadcast and release. This course is a primer to what is being broadcast and distributed today on television, online, and in theatres. This course will also look at a brief history of television genres to give a perspective on what is being produced today. The biggest complaint that many producers have with people wanting to work in the industry is that the people coming to them don’t watch or understand what it is that they are trying to produce. To be successful in this industry you have to know what the market and the viewer is watching.
