Description | This course is designed for students to gain an extensive knowledge in the purpose and fundamentals of shielded metal arc, MIG and TIG welding. Students will learn about the functions, constructions, application and welding techniques of the shielded metal arc, MIG and TIG welding. Students will learn about the different types of cab control systems. Students will also be taught about the different types of truck rig configuration and the articulating coach system. Students will study the factors that affect the classification of heavy vehicles by weight and length. Students will be taught how to create reports and access information using basic computer software and internet tools. |
