Description

This course is designed to teach the students about the various laws that govern the work place and their rights and responsibilities as a worker in a shop environment. Students will be able to demonstrate how to correctly use various types of precision and non-precision tools. Students will be taught about the different types of bearings and seals and be able to perform recommended diagnostics and repairs procedure on them. Students will demonstrate the principles and purpose of heating and cutting tools. Students will be able to explain and identify the different types of Oxy – fuel heating and cutting equipment and perform basic heating and cutting procedures following recommended guideline.
