| Description | This course examines models for developing the helping relationship, counselling skills, group dynamics and teaching-learning principles. Enhance your communication skills for individual, family and group, as well as consultation and referral requests. Use of the computer as a tool for written communication and presentation skills will be developed. Ethical and legal implications including the CNO Standards of Practice will also be examined. Self-reflection and critical analysis are integral components of the course. |
