| Description | This course focuses on the functions and operations of a variety of communications electronic circuits. The emphasis will be on identifying and explaining the functions of circuit stages of AM, SSB, FM and TV transmitters and receivers. The method of instruction is lecture and laboratory work. The emphasis throughout the course is on developing student’s facility to describe and analyse the various aspects of communication systems. The method of instruction is lecture, problem solving and discussion complimented with laboratory experiments. |
