Description

The Fundamentals of Cooling Cycles course introduces students to the fundamentals of mechanical cooling cycles, including applicable energy physics and refrigerants and lubricants. This will be accomplished through a blend of theory and practical lab work that will enable the student to understand the refrigerant cycle, its main operational components and the different refrigerants used. Lab work will also include instruction in safe working procedures and protocols for safety and the environment. 

The student will encounter adverse temperatures and humidity in labs and lectures.
