| Description | This course will use the theoretical concepts introduced in LT-401, providing you with more opportunities to expand on your specialized knowledge of oncology in relation to major malignancies. Explore the nurse’s role in identifying health promotion, maintenance and restorative strategies. Emphasis will be placed on applying your knowledge to clinical practice utilizing literature and research findings. There will be a detailed examination of nursing roles in relation to these individuals, families, identifiable groups and communities. Prerequisite: LT-401 |
