| Description | Acute, life-threatening and traumatic conditions across the life span are examined. Integration of pathophysiological, pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic and nursing concepts supports student learning. Students develop advanced assessment and clinical decision-making skills. Complex interventions are discussed. Interprofessional management through evidence-informed guidelines is explored. |
