| Description | Building upon techniques learned in ROBO-242, students will learn to design and program small industrial-type control systems with Allen Bradley CompactLogix Programmable Automation Controller, Omron SYSMAC CJ1 PLC, and Omron NS 8 Human Machine Interface. A wide range of field devices will be used to build various control system applications. Software includes RSLogix 5000, CX-Programmer and CX-Designer. The advanced design techniques of this course cover Function Block Diagram programming, processing analog signals and pneumatic position controls. |
