| Description | In this course, students will explore selected subjects related to advancements taking place in the discipline of Food Science. Students will learn about current and emerging developments in the food processing industry, including topics such as ethically sourced ingredients, functional foods, food safety, and food engineering and processing technology. In addition, students will continue their development of communication skills, specifically those related to on-the-line in-process communication skills by quality assurance personnel in a manufacturing environment. |
