Description: This course provides an overview of the visual side of print communication, including design and digital production fundamentals. The course will investigate the following: design fundamentals, measurement systems, typography, grid systems, colour systems, collaboration with account people, writers, photographers, illustrators, clients, pre-press practices, presentation methods, project supervision and studio management, digital production fundamentals, the vocabulary of computing, digital prepress process, offset lithography basics, and print production management. *Minimum C grade required
