Description

The objective of this course is to create the foundation for students to learn how to design and to manufacture Landing Gears, Brakes, Fuel Systems, APU’s and many more aircraft related systems. Also, this course is an introduction to propulsion: turboprops, turbofans and turbojets. Prediction of performance of gas turbines and gas dynamics which covers the study of compressible flows: either around aerodynamic bodies (external flows, aerodynamics or fluid dynamics) or through engines (internal flows or propulsion).
