| Description | This course introduces the use of composite materials in the aerospace industry. Students will gain an understanding of composite materials as they apply to aerospace usage including the physical characteristics of various material types, manufacturing and repair processes, curing procedures and safe handling procedures. Basic practical applications will include performing a core repair employing a wet lay-up procedure. |
