| Description | This course will introduce students to the field of Early Childhood Education. This will include an analysis of the history of our profession from a global perspective and the exploration of various service delivery models and theoretical approaches to working with young children and their families. These elements of study, combined with critical examination of dimensions of quality care and key components of legislation, will help students to develop a foundation upon which to build their skills an effective early childhood educator. Minimum C grade. |
