This course is designed to provide students with a basic overview of the various aspects involved in the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data as it pertains to interactive design. Topics include: goal setting, defining KPIs and metrics, utilizing analytics tools currently available on the market, how to evaluate various analytics vendors, how quantitative and qualitative data is analysed, and finally evaluating an interactive project from an ROI perspective. An outcomes-based education approach will be taken, where students are coached through in-class learning and assignment feedback to deliver industry-grade documentation upon completion of the course.
