| Description | This online course provides students enrolled in technician / technologist programs with the knowledge of the fundamental ethical principles driving decision-making processes in technology related fields. Through the examination and application of the most influential ethical frameworks, students will be able to analyze and provide solutions to various ethical issues/dilemmas related to the impact of applied technologies on our society and the environment. Students will also be introduced to professional standards, regulations, and codes, including the Code of Ethics, which will guide them in ethical decision making in their chosen field of study and work. |
