Description

Course Description:

This course will introduce the student to the fundamentals of welding techniques and processes used in the Powersports industry. Topics will include Oxy-Fuel,(Welding and Cutting) Metal Inert Gas (GMAW), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW),Tungsten Inert Gas (GTAW), and Plasma Cutting techniques.

Course Learning Outcomes:

  • Perform basic heating, cutting and welding procedures with oxy-fuel, SMAW and MIG.
  • Observe demonstration of TIG welding

Total Course Hours: 48 Hours
